Theresa had driven by a house Muse Custom Homes had built on Robert’s cemetery road and loved the design. Our first meeting was very informative. We spent an hour going over the possibilities and processes. Theresa and I decided pretty quickly that we would be building our dream home with MCH.
Our build was not a straightforward build. We had already been living on this lot for 37 years in an old house we bought in 1987. So everything had to go. The house was torn down, the septic system and water well were filled in and 99% of the trees were removed. Through all this change and stress EL was in constant contact with us about the next move or issue. We had to do our part as well. Contact with the utility companies was a nightmare, but EL was always helpful with that as well.
We started the actual build in September of 2024 with the new water well and pouring the foundation. We moved in at the end of June 2025. I could not have dreamed of working with better people than EL and Luke. Any questions I asked, no matter how stupid the question was, received a prompt and honest answer.
We had many changes we made during the process. From placement of lights to colors of paint, every change was discussed and the results were always positive.
Attention to detail was top notch. Luke especially has an eye for detail. If I found an issue chances were he had already seen it and was on it.
Our communication through the build was excellent. Contact was quick and clear. We texted almost daily on progress or issues.
All this is a long winded way of saying, Theresa and I highly recommend Muse Custom Homes. EL and Luke are amazing people to work with and they built us the home of our dreams.
